Last year in the UK, teachers found 4,400 school students who cheated in exams.
In 2009, more students cheated than in 2008. Why do more students cheat now?
Students have got mobile phones and MP3 players. Now, you can use your phone to go on the Internet. If a student wants to cheat, they can try to bring their phone or MP3 player into the exam and listen to answers.
Of course, you mustn’t take mobile phones into exams: “You have to put all your things in a clear bag and leave your phone at the front,” says Daisy, a school girl from London, “ …but you can hide a phone if you try.”
Only a few students cheat. Most students do not cheat. Cheating only happens in 0.03% of exams.

Yes, we have many exams. My friends sometimes are cheating, but I don't, cause I have very good marks. They cheat, cause they don't know the answer!

Hi!!!!!!!!! I'm markf96 from Italy!!!!!!!! I go the the Dante Alighieri school in Legnano, a small city near Milano, the biggest city in Italy but not capital. The capital city of Italy is Rome. In my school we have a lot of texts every week of Maths, Italian, English, French and History, so I have to study a lot of different things. We've got an exam this year and if you pass it you will go the Superior School. I'm not very good at cheat because the teacher always see me and she's give me a penalty. So I don't cheat in the texts because the teachers can see me. My friends are very good to copy or cheat because the teachers can't see them. In my opinion, I think that the children cheat in the texts or in the exams to give good grades without difficulty. They also copy because their parents want good grades. Sometimes I have 2 exams in a day or 5 exams for 5 days! I remember when I was 7 I cheated in my english exam :D . But after that I studied all my exams. Now I have got some friends cheat in exams. I think they cheat because they don't study their exams.

Yes, in our class we have a lot of tests , almost every day. We have a teacher that say us that we made a test if we have a bad behaviour, because there are somebody that doesn't listen to the lesson.

In the class I'm the best and today we had an examen of grammar. In mosts test my friends ask me if I can help them with some exercices .In a math's examen I send a letter with the answer and the teacher seed me!It was terrible because I don't cheat , I help otheer people.

The children cheat because tey don't know the answer because they don't study and the parents don't check them . My mother doesn't check me because se know that I made all my homework

At school I have a lot of exams, but I never cheat. Some of my friends instead sometimes cheat. Some children cheat because sometimes they don't study or because they don't know the answers. For me it isn't fair cheat, but sometimes it goes well.

Helloooooo!!! I live on a city of Barcelona at Catalonia and I go to a private school then is logical that I have a lots of exams then I study every day!!! Because then I don't get good marks!!! On my class I see people cheat on an oficial exam or only geting a pice of paper an write answers an put under the desk. I cheat in ``controls´´ but very very little only I doit 1 time !!!!! But some of my friends !!! a lot!!! Maby 2 or 3 of my friends cheat at controls but NEVER in oficial exams some people yes but my friends no because my techer can see an can put a 0 to this person!!!!! bye!!

My friends like chatting in tests at school because they think I am clever :D It is an official exam and in this exam chatting is very difficult. I sometimes like chatting. Yesterday I chatted and and I am happy :) I like tests but I don`t like homework and learning. It`s hard. This exam on the photo it isn`t a test in school.

In my school we`ve got many exams. Im not cheating but on history lesson two girls cheat ant teacher don`t see it. I think children cheat because they don`t know the answer.

I haven't many many exams... If I have, I study hard to be good!!! I cheat a few times, but my friends more!!! :-) Some children cheat, because they are bored study and they want to be better... It's not very fair... A little unfair, isn't it?

Last year I did a school's exams..but I didn't cheat!! I think it isn't correct cheat first for themselves and second because it isn't respectful for the students who are doing the exams so honest!!

Now I haven't exams but every summer we have a lot of subjects and dificalt ... When we have exams we write every day for a diferent subject.Some my friends do cheat!When I wrote exams I don't write very well but I have now very good numbers and I'm huppy!!! I have lots of exam in exam week. Sometimes I have exams twice a day. This week is very stressful for me. ı don't cheat in exams but some of my friends are cheating very carefully.Moreover some student are cheating in mobile phone. For example the girl doesn't find the answer, she writes the question in mobile phone and she sends the message her friend who is in different class. and the other girl gets the message and she looks the notebooks finds the answer and sends the girl. she gets the message and writes in exam paper and she gets 100 points in the exam. but ı never do that. and it is very adventurous. I think students are cheating because they don't feel sure theirselves.maybe they don't study exam or they want to just adventure. ıt changes student's kind.perhaps they haven't got any time to study exam.how do hardworking students have time to study exam? :)

Students are chatting at school on tests but not on exams !! I have many tests but seldom I am chatting. Chatting on examss isn`t popular because It`s very difficult. Chatting at school on test is "easy". I don`t like homework but I must do homework. Science is very different !!! We mu to learn science !! Maths, art, physical and other subjects. I think students cheats because teachers ask difficult questions so a student help to another student with cheat. Sometimes my friends and I chats.It's enjoyable but dangerous.!!!!!!!!! XD

Chatting is prohibited and bad but what I do when students always are chatting ?? Often teacher are saying when sstudent chat and they take a test and they give to them bad grade and for these student it isn`t good :D

I don't have many exams but I've got a lot of tests at school...I think people cheat on school tests, but I don't think they cheat on exams, too...it's too dangerous!!sometimes in my class someone cheat but if you ask your friend next to you one thing it's not so serious...but if someone copies EVERY TIME at the school tests it's not fair for the other students who always study...

Students have a lot of ways to take down!! Most well-known it: ballpoint pen with the page in means or is taking down on the chair. However on tests at me at school students sometimes have sheet of papers under Fs on the floor, they sometimes put the sheet of paper up to the sheet of paper and often even they already have ready sheet of papers for the return. So he is happening that teachers are doing the signature on the sheet of paper of the one on which the pupil is supposed to write ;D it isn't necessary to take down but what to do how it is very popular. I rarely take down but sometimes situations are happening which I am forced to take down in. Other persons are cribbing mainly it from me.... I already got used, although I know that it isn't fair, however it is sometimes worthwhile helping the friend :) Thank you, bye bye !!!

Is very many of ways to take down but I am not doing it since I prefer to get a poor mark but to learn it than to have a good mark (cheated) and to be satisfied but then I would know nothing!! To have the will poor marks but more to know. Very much a poor mark often motivates to the better research. I at the beginning of the school year got the insufficient evaluation from the not announced test and now I have very good marks since I am learning from the lesson to be the lesson :)

Hi! My name is Yura. I go to the secondary school in Moscow. I don't cheat in exams because I have good marks without doing it. But some of my classmates like to cheat as they are too lazy to prepare for tests. In my opinion using crib notes can be useful, but on the other hand cheating is illegal. I would like fewer students to use crib notes.

I like contests and tests because on them it is possible for oneself to practise and to test its abilities. On competitions however I never took down on tests it happened that I had watched something :D but little. Recently I got the poor evaluation since I didn't take down, however therefore I got it because I didn't learn... yeah such moments are happening. However I am not sad. Such an evaluation is only encouraging me to the better research. However taking down isn't good a lot he must attract children if he doesn't learn to the test.. yeah... what to do? I don't know, it will so already probably be forever :D

For me it isn't fair that the teachers give us so many homeworks and we must a lot of exams. A student should have more fun in his free time and not spend all of it for homework and for study.
