English has got ONE MILLION words!
English gets its one-millionth word this month
How many words are there in English? There are a lot!
An organisation called ‘The Global Language Monitor’ says that there are 999,824 English words. They think English will get its one-millionth word this month, on 10th June.
The Global Language Monitor finds new words all the time. Paul Payack, president of the organisation, says, “We add a word after we see or hear it 25,000 times around the world.”
So what will be the one-millionth word? At the moment, we don’t know.
We will find out on 10th June!

I love İmportant or sure ... :) and We use the words : shop,club ,sale refuse ,party ,pop corn ,baby ,okey ,..... I hope it will be applepolisher :)

My favorite word NOW is " Twilight ". Cuz I'm loving the movie now. We use the word "OK", "sofa", "coffee" , "blog"......in Chinese.

My favourite word is coffee. somtimes i buy at school some coffee, and so i usse that word. shop, party, baby, okay, and pop corn are some words we use in austria.

my favourite word is entertainer! it is so beautiful! en... ter... tai... ner! ah! ah! ah! in italy we use pop corn, party, sport! well... there isn't an italian 4 sport but we can use a boring word " attività fisica"!
