The rapper crashes the stage to speak his mind
Last week MTV staged their annual VMA Awards in Los Angeles. The awards are always a star-studded event and aim to recognise the best music videos of the year.
The award for ‘Best Female Video’ went to Taylor Swift. The nineteen-year-old country singer went on stage to accept the award but her speech was soon interrupted by a surprise visitor.
Kanye West wasn’t happy with the decision and crashed the stage to let everyone know. The outspoken rapper thought Beyonce was more deserving of the award.
He grabbed the microphone from Taylor and shouted, “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!”
Taylor was taken aback by the sudden outburst. Beyonce, who was watching from the audience, looked mortified.
Later, when Beyonce was on stage, she invited Taylor to come up again. Beyonce said, “I remember being seventeen years old, up for my first MTV award, and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
After the incident, even President Obama mentioned what he thought of Kanye West. “He’s a jackass,” said the president.

That's 100% Kanye West! Rember the EMA's in 2006 where Kanye jumped up the stage and said that he should get the award for "Video of the Year" because he invested 1 million dollar and even hab Pamala Anderson in his video. That's his lifestyle. Ok, maybe he overreacts some times but as long as he produces such great tracks as he did the last years he can do what ever he wants. I think he wanted Beyonce to win the award because he helped Jay-Z with his new album ("The Blueprint 3", what an album!!) and since Beyonce is Jay's wife Kanye had a lot to do with her and maybe has a strong relationship to her. You also have to mention that it was a huge gesture form Beyonce to let Taylor have her moment! By the way, I also think that Beyonce's video was better :P All in all the VMA's were a great show, altough watching it live (in Austria at 3 a.m.^^) was a little bit exhausting ;) Greets, My Humble Self p.s.: Watch the last performance by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys! ("Empire State of Mind" is such a great song! Unbelievable!)

Well, I think that Kanye West is right but nevertheless I think that his way to mention this was absolutely the false way, poor Taylor Swift. Because I prefer listening to Rn’B music and especially to Beyonces music I would have liked to see Beyonce winning the trophy for the best video but I that she had won enough trophies anyway. I also like Kanye West, but only his music, humanly I just can agree with Barack Obama that he is really a jackass who lives in his own little dream world.
