My teacher code does not work

You enter your teacher code once only – when you start a new account.

Check you are using the right form. The registration form is at www.maryglasgowmagazines.com/start

Check you this year’s code. Codes from 2008/09 do not work now.

If you subscribe to 10 or more English magazines, we send you a teacher code on a card.

The student code does not work

Students enter their student code only once – when they register.

Check students have this year’s code. Codes from 2008/09 do not work now.

The student code is printed in the teacher’s notes and magazine.

I can’t log in to my account

Check you are using the right form. The log in form is at www.maryglasgowmagazines.com/mgm_session/new

Check you have the right username. For students, this is the name they chose when they registered. For teachers, it is their email address.

Check you have the right password. This is the password you chose when you registered. (It is NOT a teacher code or student code).

I can’t find my teacher code

Only teachers who subscribe to 10 or more magazines receive a code. We send you the code on a card with the delivery of the Issue 1 magazines.

If you subscribe to 10 or more but you have not received a code or you have lost the one we sent you, email contactus@maryglasgowmags.co.uk . Tell us the name and address of your school and we will send you a new code.

I have a new code but I started an account last year

If you have received a new teacher code and you already have an account on Magazines Plus, you need to log in to the old account and add the code on My Page.

Can my students access the student site without a magazines subscription?

No. For students, the website and the magazines are one package. You cannot subscribe to one without the other.

Can I access the teacher part of the website without a magazines subscription?

Yes. Teachers can register on the teachers site and download 10 resources for free. After that, teachers can pay £15 to access the site for one year and download all the resources they want.

Is it possible to subscribe online without a credit / debit card?

At the moment, we only accept payment by credit or debit card.

I have paid the £15 online subscription. What do I need to do next?

Log in to your original account and you will see that you are now able to download all the resources you want.

What computer equipment do I need to use Magazines Plus?

You need any desktop or laptop computer (PC or Mac) with an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari). You also need an internet connection. This site will work using a dial-up connection, however a broadband connection will make it easier to download audio and watch videos.

Are there resources for French, Spanish or German teachers on this website?

No. The downloadable resources on this website are for EFL and EAL teachers only.

Can I get some sample copies of your magazines?

What are the prices of your magazines?

Prices vary depending on your currency and how many magazines you order. You can find the details here by selecting the magazines you want and then your country.
